This recipe has been a staple in our house for over 15 years. It may or may not have started a pumpkin bar food fight on a bus! We love it and hope you do too! The best pumpkin bars recipe! Dry Ingredients 2 cups flour 1 tblsp pumpkin pie spice 1 tsp baking soda 3/4 tsp salt Wet Ingredients 2 sticks butter - room temp 1 1/4 cups sugar 1 egg 2 tsp vanilla 1 cup canned pumpkin 1 package mini chocolate chips Pre-heat oven to 350° Whisk flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, and salt together, and set aside. Cream butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a separate bowl. Add pumpkin, and mix well. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients bowl and mix. Stir in chocolate chips and spread into a greased 9x13" pan. The best pumpkin bars recipe!

Dry Ingredients
2 cups flour
1 tblsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients
2 sticks butter - room temp
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 package mini chocolate chips

Pre-heat oven to 350°
Whisk flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, and salt together, and set aside.
Cream butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a separate bowl. Add pumpkin, and mix well. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients bowl and mix.
Stir in chocolate chips and spread into a greased 9x13" pan.
Bake in a 350° oven for 35-40 minutes.
Cool completely, cut into squares, and enjoy!
