My life has been a series of decisions that have led me to what I believe is my perfect vocation and purpose. Spending the last 10 years creating a seamless process for buying and selling homes has brought me so much happiness. I love what I do, I am good at it, and I am pretty certain it shows. My family and friends love me for my warmth and humor. My Clients love me for my expertise, passion, and knowledge of all things real estate. I am proactive, optimistic, and purposeful.
Fun facts: I have never drunk a cup of coffee in my life. I love listening to live music. Taking my two dogs on a walk makes me happy. I love baking – Bailey’s chocolate chip cheesecake is a specialty of mine. I am not a fancy one, I wear comfy shoes and try to stay warm. I am always cold. I love hosting parties and Holidays. I am very content vacationing on a beautiful beach and love to swim in the ocean (although I do have an irrational fear of being eaten by a shark). I love my family, and I am enjoying our current empty nest (it may be temporary, but it is NICE!). My kids are adulting, and it is awesome to witness. I am a second-generation Realtor, my Mom was in the Real Estate business for 40+ years. I have spent my life advocating and caring for Elders, first as a CNA at 16 years old, then as a Social Worker specializing in long-term care, end-of-life/hospice, and Alzheimer’s. And now I have found my sweet spot helping Seniors as a Real Estate Advisor. It is my passion and my calling.
My vice: one can of ice-cold diet Coke (I know, I know, gotta kick that habit for good!).

Our home is the center of our lives. It sets the tone for the chapter you are in your life. Over time needs and wants change, and so should your home.
Do meaningful things. That is one of the life mantras that has led me to focus on a business that directly impacts people’s life stories.
Combined with the experience and perspectives of the rest of the Nested team my my background in data analytics and technology helps us guide our clients to informed decision-making throughout the process.
In my current role, I oversee business operations, technology, and financial management for the brokerage. I have been a licensed Realtor since 2018 and you may see me at an Open House, showing, or home inspection!
In my free time, you’ll find me playing a few instruments, listening to podcasts, or at a Brazilian Jiujitsu Gym. I enjoy learning people’s stories, sharing perspectives, and helping them get to the next chapter in their lives.

Susie Vanselow
As long as I can remember I’ve loved homes. As a child, I would decorate my doll’s cases pretending they were houses. Making furniture from cardboard boxes and using my drawings as wallpaper.
With age, I became passionate about renovating. I did it in my spare time as my focus was my corporate job as a traveling, high-level sales exec in digital advertising agencies and at AT&T. Multi-million dollar Fortune 500 contract negotiations were my specialty. Before I knew it 25 years blew by as well as 8 of my own homes.
Facing a career crossroads, I pulled the trigger to follow my dream and sold my belongings to start a new business. It’s been 7 years of being a dedicated real estate agent and investor with 27 home renovations under my belt and I’ve never looked back.
My gift is vision, whether picturing my clients in their next place or solving design. My clients reap the benefits of my building knowledge.
I have empathy for life events having gone through many myself – divorce, death, career changes, building a family, downsizing. My clients say I bring infectious energy and laughter to the process, even when things are tough.
My stories are legend – sucking 40 gallons of water from a broken water heater with a shop vac the day before closing, moving a vintage pinball machine out of a basement before the buyers moved in, cleaning a dumped 5-gallon bucket of paint minutes before photos were taken, fixing a wall heater igniter post-close on the first day of winter. I do what it takes to get the job done.
A few times a year you’ll find me at my happy place – Kohler. Wandering the adorable neighborhoods with a chai tea latte, enjoying nature in River Wildlife, drooling over tile in the Design Center, and partaking in the Waters Spa. The rest of the time I’m surrounded by amazing friends, my two amazing boys, and three spoiled dogs.
